Our Instagram photo contest
If you’re interested in photography or simply like capturing your experiences with a camera, our competition is perfect for you. Not only those who have already visited our settlement, but also those who have only seen it from a distance and have an Instagram account can take part in it.
The theme of the contest is Faktoria Handlowa, but how you decide to capture the settlement or your time spent here depends only on you. The only limitation is your imagination and creativity.
How to enter?
If you want not only to share your work with others but also win cool prizes, you have to follow those three simples steps:
- follow our Instagram account – @faktoriahandlowa
- post a photo, a video, a collage, or any other form of your creative expression which subject is associated with Faktoria Handlowa
- tag your post with @faktoriahandlowa together with hashtags #faktoriahandlowa and #photofaktoria
Prizes
Every month, a three-person jury consisting of employees of Faktoria Handlowa will select one of the submitted works, the author of which will win the following prizes:
- free entry to Faktoria Handlowa in Pruszcz Gdański, together with two people of his or her choosing
- a guided tour of the settlement with one of our qualified guides
- in-kind prizes, including:
– selvages and bracelets handwoven by our talented reenactors
– headphones
– photo albums
– Faktoria’s customed gadgets
- closed, hour-long workshop conducted by the reenactors, the topic of which you will be able to choose yourself from among:
– traditional archery shooting class
– pottery workshop
– runic workshop

Our contest’s time frame is six months – from the 1st of March till the 31st of August. Don’t worry, if you don’t win one of the monthly editions of the competition! Entering the contest is not limited in any way, you can take part in it as many times as you want. However, please remember that a new project should contribute with a fresh perspective. Submitting the same work repeatedly will not be appreciated by the jury.
